Helen Gautschi is a registered dietitian and has just completed an MSc in Nutritional Epidemiology and Public Health from Wageningen University and Research, Netherlands with her thesis on Early Life Exposure, Intrauterine Life and Risk of Breast Cancer: A Meta-Analysis.
Helen’s focus is on personalized healthcare and nutrition, especially, in the field of nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics, and believes this to be a key area for management of health and wellbeing. Helen has worked for nearly a decade with dnalife and is responsible for R&D and has created several of the dnalife tests – reviewing and assimilating research on gene-environment interactions that impact mental health, chronic pain, skin aging, as well as perinatal and fetal health.
Helen applies her understanding of nutritional biochemistry and genomics to translate complex concepts into tangible information. She is passionate about health promotion using a personalized approach and has presented on the subject at numerous conferences and education events, globally. Her role as educator and researcher, allows her to pass on genomics knowledge to like-minded healthcare practitioners.
